I just spent a week at the history department of Texas A&M University, my old alma mater and was totally immersed in WWII history. The seminar had presenters from Germany, Japan, Italy, Russia, England and of cours the U.S. each presenting their view point of this important time in history.
Each of us had to make a presentation on an important fact or event during WWII and I made my presentation on the GMC model CCKW and the importance of this truck in the victotry over the Axis .I used this web site in my power point presentation and it was amazing the positive response it received from both the participants and presenters at this seminar.
It was one of the best teacher events I have ever been to. Thanks to all of the contributors to this site as you became a part of history and the keeping alive the history of these fine old trucks.
