Ben Hur Fender Removal
I am removing the fenders on my Ben Hur trailer. They seem to be held on by a round headed cross hatch bolt. This thing went through a French rebuild in 1965 so I am not sure if the hardware they used is correct. The way things are going I may have to grind the heads off to remove the fenders anyway. What is the correct hardware????

Re: Ben Hur Fender Removal
I had to bore in the middle of the bolts to remove them, because of rust. Correct bolts are round headed without slot and with square shoulder to lock into the slot in the trailer body (steel body model. I don't know how it works on the wooden body model).

I am going to try it the lazy way. I am going to throw a large wrench on the square nuts and hopefully break it off.
