Not all Ben Hur Type 1 Ton Trailers used NDT Tires, some were equipped with Commercial 750-20 8 Ply Tires.

I knew that because I have a couple of those tires with the small port holes around the edge like in some of the pictures.

No need to waste NDTs on a trailer...

The G-518 series 1 Ton trailer in all its' variations, had several style dolley wheels, the pnumatic tire, hollow steel wheel, hollow steel wheel with several holes in the sides, steel wheel with spokes, and another made with scrap rubber strips, much in the style of a Rolodex File. I prefer the pneumatic Tire because it does not make that "crunchy noise" when rolling.

So Joel....

I need examples of the "Rolodex" and the hollow steel wheel for the Ben Hur wheel page.....http://www.cckw.org/ben_hur_parts.htm

I will try to pull them from Manuals. A lot has happened in the 40-50 years since I actually had them around here.
