I have been looking also, as I built up a NOS 270 starting with a NOS bare block. The holes for the plate are there, but now have Permatex #1 in them. They are not as easy to find, and I have years of contacts. Many European rebuilds have a plate of a different size, and the holes do not match. Something you may want to consider. US Army Ordnance Rebuilds may also have a different size plate.

Great you git what you need. My data plate is on the drivers side, just forward of the middle of the block. I love the Norweigian plate Bill. I wonder if it would be economically fesible to start reproducing the data plates for the CCKW's like they have for jeeps?

There have been CCKW Repro Data Plates since the 80s, they originated in Europe, some college professor started doing them using the "lost wax" method. Frank Von Rosensteil of Canada has offered a good selection for several years, he is a good supplier, I buy from him regularly.
