WANTED: CCKW353 Troop Seats
I am looking for a complete set of LWB CCKW353 troop seats. Wood condition does not matter but all metal parts must be there. Would prefer them to located in the southeastern USA but would consider anywhere in the US. Please contact at od_willys@bellsouth.net.

Hi Scott
CCKW troop seats are not very common at least a complete set anyway
You can use the troop seats from the GMC M211/ M135 series the hardware is the same including the way the head rack is secured.
You can also use M35 and M54 hardware it is slightly different but usable and avail pretty cheap
No matter what you find you will have to replace the wood
The hardwood "slats " on a CCKW are a full 1 inch thick with1/4" radiused edges as well
There are several post concerning this subject on this site.
Hope this helps

CCKW Troop Seats
John,
Thanks for the reply. I did find a set of seats from a M211. One question. In pics CCKW's that I have the front and read seat hinge point seem to be in the center of the stake, unlike the M211 which has it offset to the inside of the bed. Is this correct? It is not a problem for me to modify the stake hinge at this point to match that of the CCKW if I am correct. If you have any pics that would also be great.
