HydroVac Series 3

Post by Karoshi »

Does anybody have or know of a supplier of Series 3 Hydrovac overhaul kits. I'm looking for one.

Thanks

Does anyone here have any leads on these kits?

The Series II kits seem to be available NOS, but not the later Series III.

Thanks,
Ron

Ron, I had no luck, I was able to find Type 2, but no Type 3's.

I rebuilt my own in the end, using a Type 3 kit.

You said that you used a Type 3 kit to rebuild yours? Where did you get that at? This is what I am looking for, a Type 3 kit, not a whole unit.

Thanks,

Sorry

Sorry Hardbird, finger trouble there.

I used a Type 2 kit. I seem to remember the rubber seals were 3/4" and 1.1/4". with only two seals in the whole unit. It was a pretty straight forward overhaul and no more difficult to do than a master cylinder rebuild.

Sorry for misleading you.

My parts were sourced in the UK from REX WARD.
