I am looking for wiper motor rebuild kits for my open cab 353. Does anyone know of a good source?

www.wiperman.com

From thier web site:

We have the worlds largest stock of Trico Vacuum operated wiper motors and related parts. We cover 1924-1958 For Motors and Up to the 1980's For arms and blades. I have many GM wiper arms 1960 thru 80+. Vacuum Wipers for all American Cars & Trucks mostly pre1959, but to 1972 with AMC. We rebuild them all and stock many of them NOS!
Vacuum wiper motor rebuilding service. Quick turnaround, 3 year warranty, PRE-WAR=$79 + $5 S+H, POSTWAR=$69 + $6 S=H 35 Years experience. We bought out the left over stock from Trico in Buffalo.

And there is a considerable premium if you do not have a motor to rebuild, as it is extra for a rebuilt motor outright. This place does good work. One has to realize that this is 2005, and these 60+ year old parts are now rare parts.

Thanks Guys, I used Rob F. for my WC51 motors and love the work he does. I was trying to get the kits for my wiper motors since I was wanting to rebuild them myself to better educate myself on the ins and outs of the CCKW. I guess I might cave in and send them off to Rob F.

Thanks,
Rob

I may have some good used ones that work OK @$50.00 ea. I may have arms w/achorn nuts too. These are in demand as the S583-1 was used on some WC, all Open Cab CCKW, MB with factory Vacuum Wipers, M-37, CJ-2A. Remember, 60 years.
