A phone number would be even better. If I'm gonna throw money at someone for parts (as I recently learned, NOS means different things to different people) I wanna talk to him first.

He is down under and a good "Mate", an expert at finding and selling rare parts. It is nice that there are persons around the world that invest in parts to sell fellow collectors. He has had some impressive CCKWs to offer in the past It makes restoration much easier. I have sent him a request for hard to find items.

G'day Guys!
OK...sorry for the apparent lack of information. here is my email address... leaselend@yahoo.com.au

Joel....sorry, but I don't have tose rare items you require. I am also looking for some of those items! In Australia, we received about 2,500 GMC CCKW's lend lease as at the end of September 1945. Also about 1,200 Studebaker US6's. All the US6's were LWB cab/chassis or cargo body models, US6U3 and US6U4. None were 6x4 as far as I can tell. No exact figures on how many SWB CCKW's found there way here, but a couple hundred would seem feasible. I have one here, a December 1941 with Banjo diffs. Most trucks were worked extensively in civilian use, and only a few nice CCKW's are in existence now. A few were brought in from Europe about 10 years ago, but not many.

Kind reagrds to all,
Ross
