1943 GMC radio van parts

hi I got some parts off a 1943 radio van
huge generator probley three times the size of one on a reg cckw. I got the moutnign brackets as well, it does have a pully on it
i have a complete intake with Zenith updraft carb super condition, i beleive it has a govenor as well
also got the dist
anyone need these parts. I thougth about putting the generator on my truck to give me more power does anyone know if that woudl work...
