Some Open Cabs have a couple extra holes at the passenger side upper dash near the safety strap anchor bolt. They are for the 1/4" screws used to secure the Gas Can Nozzle.

Betcha didn't know this.

Hi,

Thank you for the info on those extra holes. I could not figure out what went there. Tell me, what does the bracket look like. A photo would be great.

Thanks for all your info.

I have no photo, but the Nozzle Bag is in the July 45 ORD 9, as well as the Screw type used. the mounting plate is also listed. I have been asking for any CCKW Open Cab owner with installed GI Nozzle Bag, or remnants there of to measure the part that reinforces the bag to the Dash. No response yey. Gonna guess that it as a piece of 18Ga 1" X 2" with holes. Don't really need it now as my chariot has a Closed Cab.
