ROTATING VALVES

Post War, the army had a Rotating Exhaust Valve conversion for the CCKW engine. Not to be confused with the valves for the M-Series 302 which were not the same.
I have never seen the kits turn up surplus. McQuay Norris showed them in old catalogs of the 50s. They most likely would cost 0ver $500.00 to find and have installed, plus the labor of removing and installing the cylinder head.
I would install them if I ever found a set.

It takes a few year to absorb all this information.
M-Series did go to rotating valves.
They are beneficial to hard working engines.
