latest DOD date

I am interested in finding out who has the latest Date of Delivery of their CCKW on this site, or the latest DOD known. Thanks in advance for your input.

It looks like Doc Britton has the highest serial number on our list of CCKW's.

My CCKW, 3 behind him has a delivery date of 6/45

Too bad my DOD delivery date block is blank on my Data Tag. But I'm pretty sure this is the original tag and for some reason it just never got stamped.
Just never thought that my truck would ever be considered the "newest" truck in a group. Kind of ironic.

It is kind of unusual. Does anyone know when the last trucks were accepted by the Army? I would assume that it would be no later than August of 45, but I am not sure.

I heard/read that production stopped in Aug 45

I found an 8/45 truck in NY about 15 years ago. Had a tank on it (non-original) by a river in upstate.

Thanks Doc. So far it appears that August of 1945 must have been the last month the Army accepted any more CCKW's into inventory.

I have posted this question on several sites world wide and it appears that no trucks were accepted by the Army after
August of 1945. Thanks to all in helping with my little quest.
