Mine was NOS on our first Army Surplus CCKW purchased after WWII at an Auction at Boston Navy Base. It was USA 4819485 S and had 1100X18 singles with wood cargo body The truck was unused and sold shortly after WWII, I last saw it in 1957 with a log loader on it. The NOS Snatch Block stayed on a shelf in our storage building for 40 years until it became mine.

Anyone who can tell where it was stored on the truck?
Photos?
Was it in the small bin at the rear?
At my Canadian Chevrolet Gun Tractor, it has some brakets that the snatch block fits in to. Never seen any such braket on a GMC.
And recon it was a snatch block on the Chevrolet G-7100 series with winch too ??
