Nice to see a truck that is still doing the job it was intended to do.
Looks like that little mini excavator behind it just threw on a load of earth. Not a big load but about right.
Nice tipper.

Re: Picture of the Week 9/28/2009
Beautiful dump truck and nice to see that someone is using them for their intended purpose. I did just that this summer and then some, it turned out. I hauled gravel for my garage build. I told the machine operator that was loading the gravel that I wanted a maximum load of 5 tons. When I did the maths later based on the loaded volume and the type of gravel it turned out that the load was 6 tons! I hauled three loads without any problem and I haven´t noticed anything on the truck yet. The partition is stuck in the down position so we put the load as far back as possible. I must say that I´ve learned a lot about shifting gears on those three runs. Driving a CCKW with a full load is something completey different compared to a empty truck and I hope that all CCKW owners get to try it at least once.
