i have been watching thiss site for some time... i have recently been given a 1945 cckw 352 a2 hard top... and a 42 chev 4x4,cargo i think. both are in need of work to put it lighty.. i also was told i could have a 1944 cckw 353 a1 open top (artic cab) if i could haul it off. it was going to be hauled to a scrap yard if i didnt do somethig SO I HAD ARRANGED TO GET HER HOME.... so aftert getting these wonderful peices of WWII history its time to start work..im 29 yrs old work for a living as a carpenter. I have a wonderful wife and one son on the ground one on the way.. so its just getting these trucks in a place with a roof over them so they dont rust away in the nothwest rain for now. work will start as soon as they have shelter and my shop space is ready.. i love to read what other people are doing and this site is full of it. its good to be abord..
