Trucks used by the U.S. Army in world War II that were 2.5 tons and larger. Such as Studebaker US-6, International M5-6, 4 Ton tractors (Auto Car, etc.), 5 Ton (Corbitt, etc.), the Dragon Wagon, and any other trucks 2.5 tons and over.
Yes, the Diamond T has got the most beautful lines.
Ray Patton will be bringing the truck to her new home. At 2 mpg, it is almost cheaper to have it hauled and you do not have to concern yourself with any breakdowns.
And I thought everything on my "40 Chevy dump was heavy, well I am in new league now, only thing bigger would be a Ward LAfrance, almost bought one but it would not fit into my shop so I settled on the Diamond T, guess it was fate.
I have already located a Briggs and Stratton engine for the air tank, just gotta find a period correct compressor, I got all the tools too........and a bunch of NOS parts
Keep you all posted
I use to have a DT chassis and cab. It is soooo much bigger than the CCKW, that if they hit head on, the DT would not touch the CCKW bumper and would just take out the radiator!!!!!

WoW I dont think there's much to do on that beauty but regular maintance. Its the perfect "other " truck to have when you've got that OD fever really bad and need to haul home a new find or if you or a Friend have a breakdown you just pop home and grap your tow truck. makes a handy around the yard crane for those body of restorations !! congrats
