Trucks used by the U.S. Army in world War II that were 2.5 tons and larger. Such as Studebaker US-6, International M5-6, 4 Ton tractors (Auto Car, etc.), 5 Ton (Corbitt, etc.), the Dragon Wagon, and any other trucks 2.5 tons and over.
this truck is only about 90 miles away and I will be heading back in it's direction next week anyway, so I'll make sure to look at it some more then. That pic was taken from a truck and I didn't even realize that truck was there at first! I was actually trying to get some pictures of a wrecker type vehicle...
It could be a Chevrolet with some sort of search-light body or a lowered auger/earth borer-body on it. Or it could just be a post war home made body...

It is a Chevy 1 and 1/2 ton 4x4 class 110 military fire truck. The rear body is a dead givaway.

No, it was just a regular Anthony body. It is pretty heavily corroded though, the cab looks to be in nice shape. I might try buy the truck since I need the bed for an IHC.
I am looking for a bed for a IHC M-3L-4. I just bought 4 of them and 2 M-2-4s(I saved them from the junk man). The truck I am going to restore is/was a US Navy cargo truck. So I am looking for a cargo bed.
