I just visited the LoneStar MVPA site to see the after action report on the Radolph Air Show and suddenly realized that the collectors in my area need to be educated. As jeeps seem to dominate the scene and my CCKW is the only running example in this area it is time for me to step up to the plate and teach these guys what is what. They have my CCKW listed as a Weapons Carrier ??.
My path is clear now and my goal well defined. These jeep guys have to learn that there were other vehicles used in the armed forces other than just jeeps.

What is even worse, one of the guys putting down my truck drives a modified CJ2 that was turned into an MB with the purchase of a new reproduction tub and all attached parts. Hmmmmmm not exactly historically correct. Maybe because it was manufactured in the 40's. :D

I kind of can understand the "Jeep" thing. If you are limited on space....It is a car that you can restore in your Garage....right next to the wife's Mini-Van. .

All I can say is Real Men Drive real trucks.
