Same Werner Motors...Sold?

I see in MV Magazine that Sam Werner Motors in Tenn has changed it's name to Ottocraft.

Still at the same location and has the same WWII trucks listed.

Joel...what is the inside scoop on this?

Must be the Baileys, they have been squatting on his land for a few years, I don't know if the word sold is the right description. His collection of rare trucks and Tanks and premium stock have been moved to an Ohio Location

I learned from my trip to Mobile that Sam had sold out. Drew Lindsey had bought the 2 CCKW's from this guy. He said that he chose the best two out of several that had sat and rotted and rusted away in the Tennessee moisture. Sand ending for some fine old trucks.

There is more to the Sam Werner story, I doubt very much that he has sold out.

The Ohio "Branch" still carries his name but looks like more recent "M" stuff.

The Tenn location is the one with the name change but the same pictures of WWII vehicles and trailers that have been posted in the past.

Trust me, Bud owns half the State of Tennessee, he is not out of the parts business. I buy his parts quite often. I wouldn't try to read too far into what is percieved.
