I installed a NOS Delco Ignition Switch, and the Conversion Kit for the H-700 Key. This gives me a little peace of mind when I leave the truck unattended at displays. A fellow named Jim Herrick gave me a NOS Delco Switch and the kit to change it to a key type. Jim was one of the the original founders and officers of the MVCC.

Smart move Joel. I have a key switch. It is hard to keep people out of the cab when at displays.

I have no problem getting people out of my truck, it is sort of recreation for me.

   I always encourage parents to let their kids sit behind the steering wheel and even have a steel pot for them to wear so the parents can get a photo. I , like you, love to make rude adults, who do not ask permission, to get out of my truck. One time at Randolph AFB at an airshow I had to get a security policeman to remove the guy when he would not get out and he was so beligerent they escorted him off of the base. :D

I came out of the Museum I belong to one day to find my Nomex Flight thrown Jacket on the hood, and the other on the floor of my Jeep with 3 kids standing/seated in it and a guy taking pics. I asked him if he had permission, he got huffy, and I had to remind him that the kids were standing on the pocket that my reading glasses were in.They fly out of my stuff quick. There is a time and place to allow entry into a vehicle, but not unattended. I have to restrain persons who show up,at my place and remind them that this ain't no petting Zoo.I would love to do a tapdance. on the hood of a Mercedes and get away with it.
I really am a fuzzball most of the time, but not at the cost of a paint job.
