Great joke about the "half off" sale!
Would you be interested in parting with the carb in the picture?

Interesting details. This truck was radio suppressed and has a lube chart holder. My open cab GMC does not have these gadgets.

Yes it has a chart holder and all the gadgets ill get its numbers on here for some fun looking it up. It has an army core of engineers plate in the cab. i think it was a mechanical shop van?

The "Core of Engineers US ARMY"Tag reads
Truck Mach. Shop Light
Stock number 2320-090-2508
serial # 270493991
USA Registration number 60130934
cckw 353
Data tag says on truck
serial 360132-1
Date 1-44
Has the what i think is a maintinace chart holder on the back of cab?
if Anyone could help me know what this was in the field would be appreciated.

she cleaned up pretty good and she runs... I was amazed at how clean the fuel system was internaly the carb seem to be very low mile clean inside and out... except she sat for 20 some years like the rest of the truck.

That engine does not go with that body. The engine has a "road pipe" to breathe the oil fumes.
If you remove the engine, remove the dist and carb BEFORE you do anything.... You will thank me in the morning!

I thought the engine looked funny, I thought someone dressed it up with diffrent items like the carb, fan , and breather tube.. the block has an army rebuild tag on it... Im shure the rest of it was gone through by civillian mech.
