Does yours make you smile? Strange thing, that inside mirror on the Open Cab CCKW, as the rear Curtain has no window to look back thru. I still have plenty of NOS GI Issue inside Rear View Mirrors .

You are right on with that one

. I could never figure out why the inside mirror was needed with no window on the back curtain. Maybe if you had a really good looking nurse sitting in the middle of the truck while you were traveling.

Once the Cab top is removed, the rear bow can be lowered in its track.
I had Mike Sinkovic install a vinyl window in a NOS rear curtain for me. I use hand signals, and it is a safety issue for me that I be able to see what may be following. (I do not believe many pay attention to my hand signals)

I don't think most people know what hand signals are for or understand them. You and I grew up knowing them and using them. Sadly enough hand signals are a bery positive way of communicating and yet seem to be going to the way side. Heck, most people don't even use their signal lights aroound here anymore. Just too lazy to flip the little leaver.

Joel, are the inside mirrors for open cab the same as for closed cab? I guess that the bracket should be different. As you know, I need one for my closed cab.

Inside mirrors are the same, the brackets that adapt them to the particular cab windshield are different. I can do a pic but wife has the camera and is out of town, I will probably forget, as usual.
