Women working during the war

Post by armydriver »

We are all familiar with the Rosie the Rivater lady during WWII but in doing research on Kelly Field here in San Antonio I found out that the ladies that worked on this base called themselves Kelly Katies. Among the notibables in history that got their wings at Kelly are Lindberg, LeMay and Tibbets.
