The Collings Foundation aircraft B-17, B-24, & B-25 flew into the Laconia NH Airport on Monday Sept 17. I was priviledged to be able to display my WWII USAAF Vehicles with them.
They had some "noise" coming from the Right Engine on the B-25 so the technician removed the shrouds and went to do some diagnostic work.
All I can say is this guy has big stones.

Yes that is the propellor rotating and engine running!

There will be pictures up under a separate post later. Maybe even some U-tube.
Brought the Chevy Crash Truck, the WC-54, and the Case Aircraft Tug.
The most disappointing thing about the whole event was Collings outright refusal to allow me to take staged/posed pictures with their aircraft as a back drop. Don't know why they were like this but it kind of pissed me off.
I would think that this type of cross promotion would help rather than hurt.
'nuff said.
