Taps for a passing

Post by armydriver »

Claude Vaughn, a long time HMV collector in Austin, Texas lost his fight against cancer yesterday. He was a long time member of the MVPA and was one of the founders of the Lone Star Chapter of the MVPA in Austin, He owned a lot of WWII military vehicles including an un-restored CCKW 353 compressor truck, restored White Scout car and a lot of other vehicles, mostly unrestored due to health and time restraints. He and his expertise will be missed here locally.

May he rests in peace. When we have this sad news, I realize that I have more projects than a life time.
