So who owns the Bolster Truck in Holland?

Post by Bill_Wolf »

What are the chances of me being in Holland, Driving home to the hotel from work and seeing a TT unit hauling a restored Open Cab cargo and Complete Bolster Truck with trailer going in the other direction.

I was East bound on A1 in Holland between Holten and Hengelo, about the 127 km miile marker, when I saw this set up headed Westbound. I am assuming these restored trucks are headed to a Market-Garden event.

Unfortunately I did not have my Camera ready.

Is it anyone on the list?

Greetings Adrie,

A beautiful country you have.

I got lost with a couple of Brits driving Humber Heavy Utilities today looking for the parachute drop.

They invited me to hang with them and I got to do the Race to the Bridge Parade. A wonderful experience. I will post some pictures Sunday night.

Sunday it is off to Overloon and then on to the Wings of Liberation Museum in the afternoon.

I know someone who has a bolster truck and trailer, but it probably wasn't him that you saw since that truck won't start at the moment. But I guess that'll be fixed soon, because it also will be present at the Lest We Forget event that Corne already mentioned. I will be there to and plan to take many photos.
