Post by 42cckw »

For all you cckw owners in need of a muffler ,your wait may soon be over 8) .It looks like vehicles of victory has found someone to manufacture a exact repo, this is good news and it just goes to show you that if the demand is there someone will step up to the plate :) You can check it out at www.vehiclesofvictory.com

Thanks for the information. I have always felt that if there is a demand someone will manufacture the parfs. When I first started restoring jeeps some 30 years ago, there were a lot of good TO stuff and NOS stuff around. Now one can build a complete new MB with just reproduction parts available.

sounds great and I will want one of those if the price is not outragous. Yea your correct to say if their is demand enough someone will step up and repop it to get their hands on that glorious dollar..thats what I like about capitalism.....but is their demand enough to warrant the quantity needed to be manufactured to bring the price down to a fair and reasonable margin ??? just wondering

will they make the tail pipe too then?

Hi Mark
Bob from VOV emailed me and said he has a batch of mufflers coming in next week , and a good portion of them are already sold . He did say he can get more but freight is a killer :x . Because frt was higher than expected he said he will need to sell them for $90.00 ea. I think that is within reason, 3 years ago I bought 2 nos mufflers for $50.00 ea but they are not out than anymore  so what do you do , I want my truck to run, sound, and look like its suppose to, so dig into that there wallet and :)
