HAS ANYONE SEEN THE PICTURES OF THE JAPPANESE TYPE 95 TANK ON THE G503 FORUM THAT STEVE GREENBERG & CO ARE RESTORING . EVEN TOUGH IT SERVED A :twisted: EMPIRE IT IS A RARE PIECE OF MILITARY HISTORY AND DESERVES TO BE RESCUED. IT SEEMS IT WAS TAKEN OFF A US MILITARY SHOOTING RANGE AND WAS BADLY SHOT UP . THEY HAVE THERE WORK CUT OUT AND MY HAT GOES OFF TO THEM FOR SAVING SUCH A RARE TANK. GOOD JOB STEVE MAYBE IN THE FUTURE THE TYPE 95 AND YOUR M3 STUART CAN HAVE A MOCK TANK BATTLE :lol: :lol:

I agree on salvaging the old tank. Even if they were our enemy's it is still a vital part of history. It is no different than restoring an A6M2 Zero and two have been restored to flying condition.
The Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas have 3 or 4 Japanese tanks on their re-enacting battle field but are not restoring them to operating condition. They are also restoring a Zero float plane for exhibit in the museum.
