Alabama Tipper bed trip

Post by armydriver »

Well I am home after a 1300 mile trip in two days, tired but very happy. I picied up the tipper bed I bought off of Ebay and man I am a happy camper. While showing a lot of rust, she will clean up really nice and I look forward to the challange of getting it back in tip top shape. While the bed is great the best part was getting to meet and talk with Drew Lindsey. the man I bought the bed from. He bought two trucks from Sam Werner in Tenneesse and plans on building one truck out of the two. I put him on to this web site and I hope he demonstrates his willingness to learn here as he did with me. He is a true collector and restorer. I told him about Joel and Doc and the rest ot the contributors here and how much help they could be. He is a fine gentleman and really nice guy. You will be greatly enriched by getting to know him, just as I have.
