Just a note to let you all know I made it ok. Had a nice layover in Roda, Spain at the U.S. Naval Station. Nice place , tried to stay but they frowned at the idea.
Nice and cold and muddy is the norm as it is winter here in Iraq and with all the soil being like baby powder it saturates fast and water stays on the surface for weeks/days depending on the size of the pond created by the rain.
Nothing exciting to report other than the mortar attack. They missed hit outside the compound.
