GMC CCKW Gear Shift Knob

Anyone know where to aqcuire one of these? Also what thread and or type was used?

I just bought some on ebait for my G506, only to find out when I got them that the box says G508 (CCKW). Good news is that I cleaned one up and the knob looks PERFECT! Nice and shiny!

I have the same problem. No shift knob. The thread pitch is 20 but the diameter of the stick is approx 25/64" about .480 and looks to be tapered. I couldn't find a tap for that. SOOO I made a new knob out of wood on my lathe and drilled a 25/64 hole and it self threaded on the end of the stick. I am going to make another a little larger and cut the shift pattern into it. That's what I 'm doing for now.
