I've been looking at a GMC for a while - they currently offer a lot of 'truck for your buck'.
I am particularly taken with the 'closed cab' versions.
Is there an easy reference to the advantages/disadvantages with these versions?
If no 'easy guide' available then fire away with your thoughts.
Cheers, REG

Re: Newbie - Looking to buy
Hi Reg,
I have a an open cab. Advantages are:
- I can fit it into a garage with a 7' door (windshield folds down).
- More room in the cab. (I am 6'3", so the added room is a plus)
- Nicer to drive in warm weather.
Have never owned the closed cab version, but from what I hear people who have them say:
- Has more of a classic WWII truck look.
- Can close off the cab to people, varmints (during storage) etc.
- Nicer to drive in inclement weather.
I'm sure other people will have additional thoughts on this.
Best Regards...
