Experts,
Is the transfer case for the 1.5 ton Chevy the same as the CCKW? Who handles parts (gears, shafts, gaskets etc) for this T Case?
Thanks for any advise.

Re: Chevy T-Case
The case has the same odd shape, but it about 1.5" less thick front to back. The CCKW is an underdrive xfer in hi range and the chev is 1 to 1. The hi-lo lever works backwards from one to the other.
They will bolt in however and people have swapped in a chev for a cckw to get more speed. Going the other way will slow a chev down. There are issues with the one lever working backwards and on driveshaft is too short then on the cckw.

Re: Chevy T-Case
Ray,
There is a post on the G503 in the 2 1/2ton and up forum, about a couple of nos chevy transfers being avail.the owner was looking for cckw transfers instead.....I do not remember where he was located however.
Given their weight the S&H will not be cheap
I will try to locate and post the link. http://web.g503.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=182549
Hope this helps
John
