m35 wheels

Anyone out there happen to know if m35 wheels with 900 tires will fit a chevy ? Or are spacers req. between the drum and wheel? I have seen on previous posts that they will not fit a cckw.with out spacers.I think the frame rails are closer together in the rear on a chevy.But the same in the front.Some one correct me if i am wrong. How about the spare tire holder? With a 750x20 wheel and tire on it there is not much room .Will a 900x20 fit in there. Thanks

I have M35 wheels on my 42 Chev plow truck but not duals. They seem fine, just a bit harder steering.

On Annie the CCKW-Schield-Bantam crane, I have 1956 GMC 2 ton truck wheels and tires (9.00x20) and they are fine

Are the single wheels on the rear of your plow truck mounted the same direction as the wheels on the front . ( toward the springs ) I found a good deal on 8 m35 wheels with tires . Seems like the way to get some cheap tires. And a bit better road speed.I dont think i would go with them if i had to install longer studs and spacers.I have 2 tire racks on my truck it would a thing of great beauty if 2 of the 8 wheels would fit up under there.

I put a set on my chevy truck. I found that the offeset on the real wheels is more than on the stock rims for a Chevy truck. so the rear duals stick out farther than they should. they do not look bad. just seems like the dist between the two rear wheels is more than it shoul be. those are 9.00 20's they work slick...
