The original AC is more dramatic and reactive in motion, the other brands of GI are sluggish in comparison.The Delco appears to be more sensitive.I just installed a NOS for the Hell of it. 40 Amp original factory system is very durable, and if all is in spec. the 6 Volt system will perform just fine. Mine fires right up year round, I have not had to boost it in the 23 years I have been enjoying it. I cheated tho, as I have all NOS WWII GM electrical components. Only thing that lacks enthusiasm that is electric and DELCO is the Horn, they are not all that loud.
