The GMC CCKW

To All,

I would like to try making a reproduction GMC grill emblem using a 3D printer. I know that, technically, my '44 should not have one, but I 'm tired of people looking at my truck and saying stuff like "These trucks were all made by Dodge, right?"

To start, I need a good clear straight on picture of the grill emblem. I should be able to scale it using the grill bars.

I'm new to this technology, but hopefully I can find a way to turn the image into a file that can be used by a 3D printer. The emblem won't be made of metal, but hopefully it will look like the real deal.

Been hearing that for 34 years! That is why mine has an emblem...

So... Since you feel my pain.. And your truck(s) has an emblem, can you snap a quick picture of it for me ?

If this 3D printer thing works out, I will send you a freebie emblem for your trouble.. .
