Hi, My brake drums are 'fixed' to the hub with 3 c/sk screws. Two of the drums have the screw so corroded in that I'll have to resort to drilling them out. Question is, can anyone tell me what thread they are please?
Many thanks.... and Merry Christmas and a happy New year.

Hi RolandRat,
Not sure which axle style your truck has - Banjo or Split
According to Ord 9, SNL G-508, Banjo axles use 5/16-18 x 3/4".
Split uses 1/2-13 x 7/8" .
I wrote a post awhile back for another site on removing rusty fasteners. This procedure may help you with you stuck brake drum screws.

An impact wrench with a large screwdriver bit is also helpful.
Best Regards.......

Re: Drum to Hub screw
Thank you for the info. Its a banjo axle.
Tried everything, heat, heat/cooling. impact screwdriver. Trouble is the screws are small. Ended up drilling them out.
