I have meant to put a note in here for a while:
When driving a CCKW or Chev or DUKW, you need to be aware of the fact that due to the shape of the pedals and arms that you can easily catch the loop from the lace on your low shoe or sneaker. It has happened to me on a few ocassions. When it does, first it is a distraction. You look down to see why you cannot move your foot to the pedal. It can be a safety issue.
