It is a 1946 picture from the folks at Life...so not too far post war.
The neighbors already think I am nutz because of all the OD stuff in the yard. This would confirm it. First thing to do would be get the rotation motor working.

Note the non-6 bolt Budd wheels and the giant shock attached to the balance beam suspension pivot.
This is a Gen/searchlight trailer on steroids!
