M5 Bomb Trailer trailer connector box

Post by dr deuce »

I am looking for an M5 Bomb Trailer trailer connector box. This is the box mounted just in front of the tool box and has a standard WW2 trailer connector with cover mounted to it. The M5 uses a double ended 4 wire trailer cable.

I just modified M5 #1 to be correct and use the double ended cable. I also added a switch to allow me to use either 4 wire or 5 wire (extra cable to the host vehicle) connections. I have a converter on the M6 Bomb Truck that allows me to have RH turn/stop, LH turn/stop and ground leaving the extra lead for the electric brakes. To use the parking/running lights, the converter reduces the voltage to the 2 stop lights so that one filament acts as both directional/stop and running.
