Ben Hur safety Chains

Post by Bill_Wolf »

There is a "spirited" discussion going on over on the Jeep site about "fatty chains" and their use on the 1/4 ton trailer. These chains are being sold by Midwest Military and are listed on the website as being New with surface rust and of limited supply. Based on the pictures on the Jeep site I was able to confirm that they are identical to the chains on my steel Ben Hur trailer.

With this information I purchased a pair. They have arrived and are identical to the chains on my Steel Ben Hur and my salvage wood Ben Hur.

For anyone looking for Ben Hur chains this might be a good opportunity for you to pick up a pair.
