Doc,

It is a Civilian version Ben Hur. I saw a post on these on another group some time ago. In the post they said it was 1/2 ton and immediate Post War.

The perfect accessory for all those "canned hams" that you already own.

Thanks for posting a picture of your trailer.
I have a trailer just like that one.
That is quite interesting to see yours
has a Ben Hur data plate. Where is
the plate located? Mine does not have one.
I have seen two other trailers in the past like
these and they both had the name BRADLEY
stenciled on the tailgate.

It's a postwar Ben Hur model 22-47, built in 1947-48. These were very similar to the Sears David Bradley trailers, which were based on the earlier Ben Hur civilian models.

Here's a thread that's mainly about the David Bradley trailers, but also includes a lot of info about and photos of Ben Hur models 22-46 and 22-27. In the first post, there's a copy of an original 1947 ad for the model 22-47:
