Anyone have any pictures of one of these mounted in a G-518 or of one in-theater in use?

Below is one of the many applications where the PE-99B was used.

SCR-643 - Control Net System (2 BC-640 transmitters, PE-99), P/O SCS-3. Two channel 50 w VHF tp and CW transmitting equipment xmtr operable simultaneously, for the gnd control of interceptor pursuit operations. Power requirements obtained from Power Unit PE-99 ( ) or commercial 110 v AC tow wire service. Similar to Radio Set SCR-573 (except) housed in buildings not part of system.

SCR-644 - Control Net System (2 BC-639 receiver, -686, PE-99), P/O SCR-3. Rec; two channel VHF tp, 1 CW & CW receiving equipment for gnd control of interceptor pursuit operations. Power requirements obtained from Power Unit PE-99-( ) or commercial 110 v AC 2 wire system. U/w but not p/o Control Set SCR-642-( ), Radio Set SCR- 643-( ) and Radio Set SCR-645-( ).

Bill, thanks for posting the photos. That is the generator that I have so maybe a problem solved eh. Mine is not quite that nice and I am missing a gauge, the starter and a side panel.

so your looking for the K-63 set up.
in tm 11-227 theres a perty poor picture of one, being towed by a K-53 van.
the only thing I can tell from the pic. is that it looks centered in the trailer.
with the controll panal twords the toung end.

Thanks for posting the picture.

The side boards have an additional 4 horizontal pieces adding about a foot to the height of the tarpaulin.

This is gonna cost.
