sheet metal / engine covers

Post by TJ Wheelman »

Would like to find the external sheet metal louvered engine covers that fit below the hood and above the fender for CCKW, six or ten louvers either one would be fine. Also interested in any other sheet metal availible for CCKW or Studebaker US-6: TJ in Anchorage Alaska

Do you still need the side covers? I have good ones. No rust or dents but painted red.

Hello Neil, I am interested in the engine side panels and also need the latches for the canvas doors. The latches that are on the cab inself. Also the plugs on the floor for the cab mounts and brake cylinder.
regards, Brian

Are the canvas "latches" the hooks that are attached to the side panels?

What is a fair price for the engine covers?

GMC Makeover

Post by Colin Britton »

SpookyDad,

May I suggest 1930 chevy or gmc 1 1/2 ton truck fenders for your project. They have more of less the same lines you are looking for for your CCKW makeover.
ATW,
Doc Britton.
