source for reproduction 90° angle spark plug boots ???

Post by thierryb »

Does anybody know a source for reproduction 90° angle spark plug boots that are looking close to the original ones used on cckw and other WWII vehicles?

Thanks, Thierry.

Hi Thierry

Here in the states we can find several listings for such items in Hemmings Motor News in Parts and Sevices.

Do you have a similar publication "across the pond "?

Hope this helps

Many thanks for your answer John…
On this side of the pond I only found dealers who sale complete kits for jeep, dodge or GMC, but nothing for my DiamondT. That’s why I was asking for a source for the boots and other hardware so that I could make my own wires…I found a source for the wires only in Europe but I’m still looking for the boots and ends on the distributor side…So any address of a company who could supply good looking/quality parts and who would ship to Europe would be appreciated…

Hello

I bought those last year in Beltring for my spare jeepengine at
Beltring from a jeepdealer. He sold them separatly.

You could also ask Ron Fitzpatrick.

spark plug boots

Post by 42 chevy »

I have an NOS spark plug wire set for the Diamond T. Mine intention is to send it off to a company here in the US and have a couple of sets made up since the NOS wires are getting brittle. The 90 degree ends (the end that mates to the spark plug) is exposed metal.

That sounds good John but I don't want to wait a long time and would need them in about a week or so...
