SCR299 K51 Panel truck parts wanted

Post by dr deuce »

I am putting together an SCR299. I have most of the big parts; K51
truck, K52 trailer, PE95 genset, BC610, the two radios, etc. I need
the following:

JB-69A Junction Box

CO-315 45" cable Jbox to conn
CO-316 100" cable genset to conn

BC-731 Control Box

SW-199A start/stop control box for genset

CH-88 chest on the wall for parts

CH-89 chest you sit on for parts

J45 Key

JB-60 Junction Box telco

CH-112 chest in the trailer

If you had the table, or heater that would be nice too.

I live in NH, so transport on the chests should be via pickup. Let
me know what you have and the price

I collect radio's and have an interest in radio vehicles especially the K-51 radio truck, which is an impressive beast. I am wondering what the TM manual is for this is? Not sure how many of these K-51s are about, i suspect they are quite rare (anyone in the UK or Europe own one, i think there is one in Italy) I have the remote unit chest set CH 121from the SCR 299 399 499 Radio set and need just two parts to complete, a junction box JB 60 and a ground stake GP-8. Just wondering how you are getting on with your SCR 299 K-51 project , did you find one of these junction boxes.

The manual is: TM11-280
Dated 22-June-1943

I still need all the parts I listed above.

The truck has gotten onto the back burner due to other time sinks. It need the radiator installed and the front end put back together to be able to drive out of the bard so that the rest of the body work and stripping can be done.

This year for sure.... :?

Steve,
The male plug for the PE-95 generator (big 6 pin) is available from Columbia Electronics in CA. Sorry they don't have the female one, still looking.
