NOS WWII EVANS COLD STARTING AID - Genuine WWII Surplus

Post by joel gopan »

10" Diameter, 10" High, burns Gasoline, has Bail on it to hang it from your Chassis. Kit includes Manual and adapters to tap into your fuel tank drain in order to use it. This is a unique WWII accessory to Display with your CCKW and other WWII vehicles, as a reminder of those cold dreary WWII Days when the Soldiers played for keeps. Only have two left. Weight is approx 35#. $100.00 Ea. FOB Bangor, ME

NOTE, These are best bought as a CURIO, as there are no Spare Parts.(They are NOS and will work) Mine is stored beside my CCKW to add to give it that 1940s GI look I can't imagine what the drivers went thru to install and use these heaters iwhile laying on cold ground or snow and hooking up the fuel lines with numb fingers wet with cold fuel, and having to repeat the cycle every time they shut down the vehicle.

I have one of those (NOS) units just like that. I have never used mine either or even opened it up.

Consider yourself on the way to being a guy whose trucks have all the bells and whistles and things that go BOOM.

Yea, someteimes you just stumble onto these things at the right price even though you may not have a real use for them. They are still neat to have though.
