.50 cal for your deuce

Post by dr deuce »

I have decided to put real weapons on my vehicle so I have one of the very nice workman .50 for sale. It is in like new condition of all metal
construction. It fits perfectly in the .50 mount or 30/50 mounts. A very nice replica.

I cans send pics to interested parties. It will go to whoever makes a
reasonable offer. This can not be made to fire.

Regards

Is this gun built up on a real parts kit? or is it a dummy gun with no orginal parts? I would be interested in seeing how it looks. Thanks Bobc.

I had found a website where they sell some dummy WWII weapons, such: M1 Garand, thompson, M1 Carabine, .30 & .50 machineguns. All in resin. It looked very nice. Unfortunately I had not saved the address in my bookmarks. so, if anyone know this kind of site, I would be interested in.

resin guns

Post by Tim Sutter »

I think you were looking at the Army Car web sight http://armycarsusa.com/resin_guns_for_sale.htm I got a dukw anchor from him. He is a nice guy but I can't vouch for his replicas as I used a guy hear in Kalifornia (LOL) to make my 30 air, 30 h20, and 50. Nice metal ones capable of using propane/oxygen. Tim :)

Yes, but it's more expensive. I tought that Army Car USA had very good prices compared to other resin guns I have found. Maybe the paint job could be better (see the M1 Garand or Thompson). But the .50 browning M2 il fine. However I would prefer a deactivated real one.

Real is better

Post by Tim Sutter »

Yes I would as well or even better a semiauto, although hear in Kalifornia I am sure I would just get in troubble. Resin plastic is a brittle materieal do the replicas have metal reinforcing? Tim :|

Mr Workmans replicas are very well done. Outside of 20 feet it is difficult to tell that they are not real. (Thus 98% of the public will not be able to tell in a parade.)

Here are a couple of pics

They are reasonably priced and the liability of having a real gun or someone stealing your real gun are non-exsistant.

If I can get Mr. Workman to provide me with some closeup pictures I will post them.

You mean this place:

http://www.iracinc.com/replica.htm

No sim fire/gas fire could *EVER* due justice to the M2. Hearing one rip off a half dozen or so rounds a second make you proud to be an American. And also lucky that you are not onthe *other side* of the big duce.
