US Army VHF Antenna -> What wireless set?

Hello!
I'm reading in this forum since many years and it was very helpful for me.
But now I've a problem and would ask if anyone here has an idea:
The enclosed picture shows a VHF antenna that was widely used by the U.S. Army on airfields in continental Europe in 1945/46.
Unfortunately I failed to identify the associated wireless set.
Has anyone an idea?
I would be grateful for all details!
