I seem to remember an antenna mounted to the side panel in a picture I saw. I don't remember the radio though.

Of course, they had the SCR299 radio shelter that slid into the cargo bed.

In Beckers book "GMC" there are some photos and pages from US TM 11-859 that show an SCR-593-A radio installed in an Open Cab CCKW on the passenger side inder the dash

Somewhere I just saw the Technical pages about the installation of a Radio on the passenger side firewall.

Unfortunately CRS has set in and I forget where.

Brian, who frequents this site, will have the information.
